BEFORE CONVOCATION
GRADUATION STATUS
Graduates can check their graduation status at https://econvo.unimap.edu.my/ (ltk link)
Graduates are requested to ensure graduation requirements are met. Graduates who do not complete the graduation requirements will not be allowed a VALID ATTENDANCE and proceed with the further process.
15TH CONVOCATION CEREMONY OF UniMAP YEAR 2020
The Convocation Ceremony this time is for 2020 graduates and will be implemented in strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP).
Only graduates who have completed two doses of vaccine are allowed to participate in the convocation ceremony this time
The awarding of the degree will be conducted in two sessions per day.

COLLECTION OF CONVOCATION ATTIRE
- Based on the COVID-19 situation, the convocation attire collection process will be carried out according to the set schedule. All graduates MUST adhere to the convocation attire schedule as scheduled by the University. The collection of the convocation attire is to the session that has been determined. Please make sure the size of the robe, mortar board are correct, and date & timeof the schedule is followed accordingly. Any changes and amendments are not allowed.
- For graduates who are unable to attend on the scheduled day, graduates are required to get a representative to collect the convocation attire on their behalf. For this time, a REPRESENTATIVE is allowed to represent three (3) graduates. Graduates are solely responsible for the recruitment of academic attire.
- Only graduates/representatives who have completed 2 (two) doses of vaccine, not in close contact, healthy and asymptomatic are allowed to attend and MUST wear a face mask and maintain physical distance during the convocation dress.
- Graduates who are still indebted to the University MUST settle the last debt before
attending to collect the convocation attire.
- Graduates are required to present their matric card/ identity card/ passport at the Checking Counter.
- For representatives collecting the convocation attire on behalf of the graduate, graduate must also provide the documentation as mentioned above to the representatives.
- Before leaving the counter, graduates/representatives must ensure that the convocation attire is received in complete and good condition (robe, mortar board and hood).
- Only graduates/representatives are allowed to be at the convocation attire collection location.
CONVOCATION ATTIRE COLLECTION LOCATION
The location for collecting the convocation attire is at Bilik Jubah, Tuanku Abdul Rahman Residential College (PFi1), Kampus Alam UniMAP, Pauh Putra which will be open from 28 February, 2nd - 4th March 2022 from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.
DURING CONVOCATION
GATHERING LOCATION
- Graduates are requested to gather at the Dewan Kuliah (DK) (Morning Session) / PFi2 (Afternoon Session) before being taken by bus to the Dewan Ilmu
- Graduates are required to be fully dressed for convocation before arriving at the Dewan Kuliah (DK) (Morning Session) / PFi2 (Afternoon Session) to avoid congestion and to comply with SOPs.
- Graduates and escorts need to update their COVID-19 status in the MySejahtera application before entering UniMAP. Those with the following status are NOT ALLOWED to enter UniMAP:
- COVID-19 positive case
- Close contact to positive cases
- Symptoms (Cold, Fever, Cough)
- Graduates and escorts present must have been completely vaccinated with 2 doses and have reached the maturity period of vaccination according to the type of vaccine.
- Graduates and escorts from abroad must comply with the quarantine period and comply with all entry procedures into Malaysia as prescribed by the Government of Malaysia.
- Graduates and escorts are only allowed to ride one (1) vehicle with a maximum capacity of three (3) people including graduates. Other guests are NOT ALLOWED to enter UniMAP.
RULES IN THE HALL
The 15th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) at Dewan Ilmu, Kampus Alam UniMAP Pauh Putra will begin on 5th to 8th March 2022.
Please note the following:
- Enter the Dewan Ilmu according to the door that has been determined. Graduates who are late will not be allowedto enter the hall
- Not allowed to leave until the end of the convocation session.
- Must wear a face mask throughout the convocation session and practice physical distancing.
- Graduates are required sit in the designated place as assigned to each graduates.
- Bags are not allowed in the hall.
- Graduates are not allowed to enter the hall if they do not comply with the dress code as prescribed.
- If the graduate needs assistance please contact the Marshal on duty.
AFTER CONVOCATION
RETURN OF CONVOCATION ATTIRE
- Graduates must return the convocation attire in good condition after the convocation session at the Dewan Kuliah (DK) (Morning Session) / Bilik Jubah, PFi1 (Afternoon Session). Penalties will be imposed in the event of damage to convocation attire.
- Graduates are required to return the convocation attire after the end of the session and are NOT ALLOWED to be taken off campus.
- Only graduates who have returned convocation attire are allowed to take the degree scroll and academic transcript.
- Return of convocation attire by post/courier is NOT PERMITTED.
CONVOCATION ATTIRE RETURN LOCATION
The location for returning the convocation attire wil be held in 2 locations (i) Dewan Kuliah for Morning Sessions, and (ii) Bilik Jubah, Tuanku Abdul Rahman Residential College (PFi1) for Afternoon Sessions in Kampus Alam UniMAP, Pauh Putra which will be open from 5th – 8th March 2022 from 2.00 pm – 6.00 pm
